Sharon ran this team and said all did a great job. She also said it was one of her most enjoyable runs ever. Two newcomers to the team from last years second team are Gimli and his brother Legolas. Legolas ran main lead with his mom Hurricane. This team consisted of Hurricane, at 5 years old, 5 of her offspring at older 2 year olds, Dexter at an older 2 year old and Wooly at 4 1/2. Think we are excited? All the dogs are leaders also.

This young fella has come a long way in a year. Legolas ran lead with his mother Hurricane on this one. Sharon said he was a bit nervous on some passing, which is understandable. Speed was not an issue for him, but he did come off a bit later in the race. Sharon almost pulled him but then he came back on and finished strong. He was on our for sale list this spring, but we saw some good things out of him in spring training. It appears we got lucky and made the right decision to keep him.

Elrond is one of our main leaders but we ran him in point to give Legolas the exposure to running lead in a race. Sharon said he was a maniac!
