2013 Midnight Run A Team 10th Place

This was a challenging race. The 1st leg went great. We had a fast run on a great trail. During the layover it snowed quite a bit. I had to drop 2 sore dogs so left the checkpoint with 6 dogs in 5th place. I knew I was in trouble when I saw how deep the snow was in the trail. We slogged it out for 33 miles and fell to 10th. The dogs did great and worked hard so I am so proud of them! It was definitely a challenge with a small team.
