2009 4th Place Beargrease 150 Team

I came down with a terrible flu right before the race and thought I'd be better by the time we got out there. I was not, and just got worse, so my super husband and handler extrordinair, Larry, stepped up and ran my team for me. He and the dogs had the race of their life and finished 4th place and got Rookie of the Year honors! I am so proud of Larry and the team. They were awesome!!!! All 8 dogs finished.

She did super for Larry and lead every step of the race with Zoey. She gave everything she had. She was a bit down at the finish, but she ran her heart out.

She ran main lead and was the driving force of Larry's team. She lead the entire race and never missed a beat. What an incredible dog! She was jumping and barking to go at every checkpoint and at the finish line. She is truely amazing. MVP of the race for sure!!

Jackson ran wheel next to his brother Gibson the entire race. He was awesome and finished the race happy. He is quite the knucklehead and tried to play with Gibson the entire 3 hours at the Two Harbors checkpoint. He was't even phased. Did super in the hills!

Wow, what a dog! Ran the entire race and never let up on that tugline. He was a force in the hills and kept a happy attitude the entire race. Rookie of the year already. Was a little sad at the finish, but he worked his butt off for Larry. This dog will be bred in the future at our kennel.
