2011 Midnight Run Champions! It was in the 50s all week leading up to the race melting most of the trail away. We knew there would be bare trail, icy sections, and a lot of unknown. Decided it would be best to sit out Hondo to avoid potential injury of one one my best younger dogs and put Potter in lead since he is one of my best leaders. Turned out to be a good decision. The dogs did a great job and we only had a few minor issues. Ran the first leg conservatively and just rocked the second leg. Our first Midnight Run win in 5 tries.
