5th Place Ironline Sled Dog Race

Ironline 2016- Our first race of the season. We ended up in 5th place out of 18! Had a really great run, dropped to 5 dogs on day 2 because the mileage was closer to 30 than 20 and Janus wasn't enjoying himself.

Great race for Penny. She ran flawlessly both days. Her only hiccups were when snowmobiles would park in front of us on the trail but keep their engines going, she's better when things just keep moving. So proud of her maiden voyage, especially with both days being our longest miles yet!

I love my little orange freight train. He's the most dependable dog, and having him in wheel was like having a V8 instead of a V6 :)

Ran lead both days. Was a bit of a turd (pun intended) when it came to bathroom breaks on the trail but he was the driving force behind our speed for sure. Love his hard driving attitude.
