Hello! We are Rex Jones, owners of Arctic Paws Kennel. In 2009 we moved from Alaska to our home state of Michigan. We currently maintain a professional kennel of proven Alaskan Husky, German Shorthair Pointer and Eurohound Breeds. Rex has competed professionally with success. Additionally, we have offered dog handling and racing instruction for children in Alaska since 1996.

Upon retiring from 22 years of service with the United States Army and Special Forces, Rex Jones founded Arctic Paws Kennel in memory of the displaced children he had met throughout his military career. Arctic Paws Kennel is dedicated to building the kind of confidence kids need to make it through whatever life may throw at them. Our school is funded by Rex's military retirement and uses business partners and private lessons to further assist in supporting free events for organizations helping kids.

All dog sales support the kennel's education programs for kids.
