Alexie Racing Kennel is located at Kwethluk, Alaska which is 18 miles upriver from Bethel, Alaska. 

The kennel is mainly focused on sprint races that happens each weekend starting from January to March. Weather dictates on the race trails since the trails are not groomed and packed also a gee/haw leader is a must to be competetive since there are no berms and fencing through the race course. Teams are not running at speeds like the big time sprinters (streepers, ellis) since the dogs are conditioned for endurance also.
