Scrat made it known in no uncertain terms, she is NOT a sled dog nor does she want to become one. She loves to run, but does not want to pull something behind her. She was a rescue as well. She is a family pet who enjoys supervising the sled dogs and playing ambcassador to the newbies. She makes her rounds through the ranks each day to make sure her charges are doing well.
Scrat did an agility class. She enjoyed it & still does some, but wants something faster paced. Hopefully she will get a chance to try some tracking &/or herding soon. There is also the thought that she may make a great therapy.
She is incredibly intelligent & sensitive.
Had to say goodbye to my sweet baby girl last week (apr 2017). She had a splenic mass (hemangiosarcoma). Such an awesome dog, so hard to let her go.
