Cloud diehard Iditarod and Quest finisher, never injured, ate like a maniac, pulled his heart out, and was one of the best dogs of many in Mackey's Happy Dog Kennel. He was conceived along the 1998 Yukon Quest. Cloud ran his first Iditarod with Lance Mackey as a 2 year old. Lance wanted to buy Cloud, but couldn't. He went on to have many successful years with Rick.
